Cookie & Tracking Notice

Last updated: 21 April 2026 · Version 1.0 (draft, pending Nigerian solicitor review)

1. What this notice is

This page explains the small files ("cookies") and tracking scripts that thepatternhouse.co uses when you visit. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. What we use

We keep tracking minimal. We use exactly three categories:

a) Strictly necessary

These make the site work — loading pages, remembering your cookie choice, and basic security. You can't turn these off without breaking the site.

b) Analytics — Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use our site: which pages they read, where they click, where they scroll. Clarity is configured in anonymized mode — it does not capture what you type into forms, and it does not identify you personally. The data is stored by Microsoft in the United States.

c) CRM & contact form — HubSpot

When you submit our contact form, a HubSpot cookie may be set to help us recognise if you return and complete an inquiry you started. HubSpot also processes the data you submit and stores it as a Contact record. Stored in the United States / EU region.

3. What we do NOT use

4. How to control cookies

On our site: our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential tracking (Clarity and HubSpot) on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

In your browser: every major browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) lets you block or delete cookies. Search your browser settings for "cookies".

Opt out directly:

5. Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics cookies.
